Shortly after the failed Souvlaki Hut fast food franchise was placed into administration, a group of private investors have stepped in to purchase it.

The franchise was placed into administration last week, which was attributed by the previous owners as a result of financial challenges and threats of litigation from disgruntled franchisees.

The Franchised Food Company was reportedly in discussions about acquiring the franchise, but has apparently missed out to the consortium led by Daryl McCormack, the former CEO of Video Ezy. Mr McCormack says he will now be focusing on discussions with existing franchisees and conducting a review of the business.
