Managing Director

Jim Parke

Jim Parke is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Courts of Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He is also a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws, a Master of Jurisprudence and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance. Mr Parke is a registered tax agent (registration number 24820107) and a Certified Practising Accountant.

Jim Parke has been Managing Director of Parke Lawyers since 1994 and Armstrong Lawyers from January 2015. Mr Parke has extensive experience and expertise in commercial litigation, corporate governance, employment law and intellectual property and is an Accredited Specialist in Business Law. He was named Commercial Litigation Lawyer of the Year for Australia in the ACQ5 Law Awards 2014.

Mr Parke is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He is also a member of the Planning Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian College of Educators.

Jim Parke is a community member of the Adult Parole Board of Victoria. He was Mayor of the City of Boroondara (in Melbourne’s inner-east) in 2015-16 and represents Bellevue Ward on the Council.  He is chairperson of the Urban Planning Special Committee.

Strongly community-minded, Jim Parke is the only Australian ever to hold the office of President of Crime Stoppers International. He has also previously served as Chairman of Crime Stoppers Australia, Chairman of Crime Stoppers Queensland, President of the Victims of Crime Association of Queensland and Deputy Chairman of Volunteering Australia. He is a past President of the Victorian Division of the Institute of Mercantile Agents.

Ilana Erlich

Ilana Erlich holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.  She is a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria and has practised predominantly in wills and estates, particularly in estate litigation.

Ms Erlich can assist clients in all areas of estate disputes, including testator family maintenance claims, contested probate applications, superannuation death benefit claims and applications for the removal of executors and administrators.  She is also experienced in preparing simple to complex wills and powers of attorney, assisting clients with probate applications and estate administration.  In addition, Ms Erlich can assist clients with family law and property law matters.

Roland Müller

Roland Müller holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Laws (Legal Practice, Skills & Ethics) from Monash University and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and has particular interest and experience in appearance work, advocacy, plea making and dispute resolution in a range of litigious, regulatory and criminal law matters. He regularly appears in Victorian courts and other jurisdictions, both for direct clients and on the instructions of other practitioners. Roland is entitled to practise in all state and federal jurisdictions and is also admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. In addition, he is an Accredited Mediator (NMAS).

Roland's clients benefit from his experience gained in private practice, a community legal service, as an acting Associate to Judges of the County Court of Victoria and paralegal work with a major Victorian statutory corporation. He applies a strategic, results-focused approach to all matters and encourages clients to consider not only their legal needs, but also commercial and personal objectives.

Rowan Kimber

LLB (Hons)

Rowan Kimber holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Merit) from the Australian National University. He was first admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of the ACT in June 2014. Mr Kimber has significant experience in the aviation industry and holds a commercial pilot licence.
